Caring Ministry Team
This Ministry involves caring for community members that may temporarily need support due to illness, surgery, grief, life events (ie. birth), etc. Some of the services offered through this Ministry are phoning, visiting in home and in hospital, food preparation, prayer, Holy Communion in home, grief support, music therapy, therapeutic touch, reiki and reflexology.
The main Core Team members of this Ministry are Rev. Nancy Talbot, Carolyn Porter, Don Collett, Ian and Emma DeJong, Mardi Joughin, Sherrill McLeary and Tricia Arpino. The ministry is rooted in prayer and members report back to Rev Nancy via our coordinator, Tricia Arpino. It is envisioned that in time the size of the group will increase as others in the congregation come forward and offer their talents and time to this ministry.
