Our minister, Reverend Nancy Talbot, joined us November 15, 2004. Nancy comes to us with nine years of experience as Minister at Royal Heights in North Delta. She has over five years of training and experience as a Spiritual Director and twelve years of personal faith development through receiving Spiritual Direction in one-on-one and retreat settings.
Nancy is a strong preacher and uses a variety of techniques in her services to strengthen her message. She has a natural, unpretentious way of leading worship, a spontaneous sense of humour and strives for Sunday worship services to be dynamic and deep.
Nancy enjoys children's time and likes to involve both children and youth in worship. She has been known to use her creativity to write her own dramatic presentations if there are no prepared ones available. She has led various forms of Bible Study for youth, young adults and adults as well as conducting courses on grief, marriage preparation and Christian theology.

Music Minister
Brian joined us July 1, 2008. As a music director, pianist, percussionist, singing teacher, composer and arranger, Brian has been involved professionally in choral and vocal music for most of his career. Brian is the former director of the Universal Gospel Choir, and founder and music director of Chroma, a world music/gospel chamber choir. He is deeply committed to bringing a variety of sacred music from many cultures to concert halls, outreach events, churches, schools and festivals.
In music leadership, he strives to bring the spirit of gospel music to all performances, regardless of the type of music being performed. This is a spirit of passion, joy and commitment from the performers, met by a spirit of engagement, participation and celebration from the listeners. Music in the church truly can be moving, passionate and transformative.
A passionate advocate of learning and making music at all levels, Brian believes that music has a fundamental role in learning, communication, understanding, community, health, and wholeness.
