Families
At Mount Seymour United we believe in supporting families. We believe caring, connected and compassionate people - in any number of creative combinations - make up a family. Together we are a church family, and we are all part of the human family. There are a number of initiatives and programs that bring people together to enjoy and be inspired by each other’s company.
Intergenerational Services
About once a month, we offer an intergenerational service for the community in which children, youth, parents and grandparents all worship together in the Sanctuary. These services strive to be extra imaginative, incorporating drama, poetry and creative prayers and rituals.
Dates for 2012 Intergenerational Services:
- January 15 - Baptism
- February 26 - Beginning of Lent
- April 1 - Palm Sunday
- May 27 - Pentecost
